National Press Photographers Association is divided into 11 regions.
Region One includes: New England and the Canadian Maritimes: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Labrador, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island.
The Region 1 blog is written by me, Sarah Evans. I am a digital visual editor living in Boston. I am a big fan of great visuals with purpose and clarity.
I also consult with photography studios to help to streamline productivity, create visual branding consistency across print and online platforms and implement SEO strategies. A whiz with numbers, I can also try to help you save a buck or two in operating costs.
Previously, I worked as the Director of Photography at Education Week in Bethesda, Md. I moved north to Boston with my husband. While I continue to look for another company job, I’m consulting and volunteering (which includes producing a TV show about cops for a local cable channel - cool.)
