In honor of my ski lodge weekend (no skiing but plenty of relaxing and one afternoon of snowshoeing), Vermont is the Region 1 state in the spotlight. Second week of relishing in local photographers. Non-scientific method of selecting the photog for the day? Roaming the ‘Find A Photographer’ feature on nppa.org.
One thing I learned about Vermont: more people should list their site on NPPA. Right now, a state search results in eight members. So to not leave any of those enterprising visual Vermonters out, let me list them: Roger Edward Crowley, Andy Duback, Gregory Jean Lamourex, Emily Jane Nelson, Alden Pellett, Davy Russell, Jordan Silverman and Ed Wolfstein.
The happy nugget for today belongs to Andy Duback for a fabulous snowmobile-in-action image. I’m a northern Minnesotan with a soft spot for yellow Ski-Doos and that classic smelly mix of gasoline and exhaust.
