English is read left to right. The upper left corner of a site is often considered the start point and valuable real estate. But how to people continue to scan the page?

Gender matters – especially when you move past click-thrus and look at conversion triggers. According to an Enquiro Research white paper called ‘Website Barrier Scanning’, men take 3x longer than women to jump over an image or graphics in their scanning. Women tend not to perceive images as a barrier to scanning.
